Ceaușescu a căzut, dar sistemul a supraviețuit

🇷🇴 România a avut cea mai sângeroasă revoluție anticomunistă dintre toate țările UE din fostul bloc comunist/sovietic.

Am plătit libertatea cu sânge. La Timișoara, la București, pe străzi pline de civili nevinovați, împușcați pentru că au îndrăznit să spună „ajunge”.

Și totuși, dintre toate revoluțiile, a noastră a rămas cea mai incompletă.

Ceaușescu a căzut, dar sistemul a supraviețuit.

Eșaloanele 2 și 3 ale securității au preluat puterea, au schimbat costumele, nu reflexele. Au pus mâna pe instituții, pe funcții, pe destinele românilor care au luptat pentru libertate.

România a fost condusă mai departe de frică, impostură și hoție.

Au trecut 36 de ani de atunci. Tinerii care au luptat la revolutie sunt acum bărbați de vârstă mjlocie, alții bătrâni. Probabil că mulți dintre cei decenți simt că revoluția nu s-a încheiat.

Cei mai mulți dintre cei buni au plecat peste hotare. Milioane. Și-au construit o viață pe care nu o puteau avea în România. 

Restul au rezistat sau s-au resemnat. Iar statul a rămas captiv acelorași rețele de securiști, mici dictatori, analfabeți funcționali și mafii.

Privim Europa Centrală și de Est și vedem adevărul crud: România este mult în urma țărilor care și-au terminat revoluțiile. A noastră încă se duce. 

Dacă nu finalizăm acum Revoluția începută în 1989, nu o vom mai finaliza niciodată.

Generațiile Y, Z și Alpha au o datorie istorică: să taie răul de la rădăcină și să ducă România, definitiv, în Europa civilizației.

🇬🇧 Romania had the bloodiest anti‑communist revolution in the entire former communist and Soviet bloc.

We paid for our freedom with blood. In Timișoara. In Bucharest. On streets filled with innocent civilians, shot simply because they dared to say “enough”.

And yet, of all those revolutions, ours remained the most unfinished.

Ceaușescu fell, but the system survived.

The second and third ranks of the people from within the system took over. They changed their suits, not their instincts. They took control of institutions, positions, and the lives of those who had fought for freedom.

Romania continued to be ruled by fear, fraud and theft.

36 years have passed since then. The young people who fought in the Revolution are now middle-aged men, some already old.

And most of those who were decent probably feel the same: the Revolution never truly ended.

Most of the hardworking Romanians left the country. Millions. They built lives abroad that they could not build in Romania.

Those who stayed endured or gave up. And most of the Romanian state remained trapped in the same networks of former secret police, crime lords, functional illiterates and organised crime. 

We look at Central and Eastern Europe and see the hard truth: Romania is far behind the countries that finished their revolutions. Ours is still being fought.

If we do not finish the Revolution that began in 1989 now, we never will.

Generations Y, Z and Alpha have a historic duty: to cut the rot at its roots and finally bring Romania fully into civilised Europe.
